If I was Judge DeSalvo I think I would have ruled exactly how he did in the book. After hearing all of the truth about Kate being the one to really want this I think he did what is best for both of them. Both Anna and Kate wanted to not be connected and didn't want to donate and receive the kidney. But at the same time neither wanted to lose each other. It is a very hard decision and very hard on both sides of the ruling. Sara is more of a mother then she will ever be a lawyer she gave up on law the moment she had her first child. Being a mother is the strongest person she will ever be. She has the most important job as the role and its to protect and take care of her children. If she is forced to not be as protective in order to take care of another can you blame her. She is protecting Kate from death and taking care of her. But this doesn't mean she wouldn't have done the same for Anna if it was Anna sick instead of Kate. But as for Campbell he is different, he is just doing his job. He doesn't look at Kate's side of things he is fighting for Anna and only her. He understands what can happen if he wins and he understands what happens when he looses. But he was payed to fight for Anna no one else.

Designer Babies Articles

If I was the parents of a child with a condition that needed a sibling I'm not sure If I could make another child. I don't think I would want to let them live with the fact that they came into this world just to help their older sibling, but then again they have a great purpose to bring into this world. But the way the process is done, I could not agree with. They are messing with natural conception and to choose which baby survives or not is just not right. I understand they would be looking for the best match but it doesn't make the other babies any less valuable in the world.

Holocaust agrument

If i was talking to someone who didn't think that the holocaust happened then i would simply disagree, yes i would be furious on how someone could possibly think that but it was a great number of people, but that number was very great. I would talk of how houses were being abandoned and how many were up for sale because of all the Jews being forced to leave. I would show them pictures of a concentration camp and tell them about how the places were overcrowded and that people were put in gas chambers. I would show them the all the different museums and tell them to look there for all the answers. I would ask a veteran what is what like to fight in the war and what we were fighting for. I would show them victims that still have the number on there are, I would show them that they were one in 11 million people that were treated like cattle. The list of names of people who were lost and never seen again. There are so many different list that show proof of the holocaust. The camps being a main factor why would they need to be built if the Nazi's were not trying to commit genocide. I would then end my argument with stating that this person is stupid and they have no proof that the holocaust didn't happen.

Holocaust

The holocaust is a very dark and mysterious thing to me. Its mysterious not because I think its frightening, foggy, or creepy like the movies, its mysterious because it makes me wonder. I wonder how Hitler and Stalin could kill people by the thousands, not only kill but have people be okay with this. You wonder how two individuals can bring so much fear across the world. Its unbelievable really. Its not an easy thing to put your mind around. You have to wonder what on earth made all these Nazi men brain damaged. Its crazy to believe that Hitlers words were so powerful to these men that his words could brain wash all these men. Maybe not every soldier wanted to kill the Jews by the hundreds but they still stood there and let the world crash before them. It is really just something that is impossible to believe that happened but it did and never happen again.

My parents

At a Canton South football game my dad was working a concession stand and doing his job making hot chocolate and taking orders. We were chatting about the game and he asked how the team was doing since he couldn't watch much of it. I told him he was asking the wrong person, when all of a sudden we heard this yelling and punching. I turn the corner and saw two teenage boys fighting, I was in middle school at the time and they had to be at least sophomores in high school. Before the fight could really get bad my dad comes out of no where and pulls the one boy off of the other and pushes him against the fence and yells for the other boys to get out of the game. When the boy was far enough away my dad let go and told the kid to get outta here and if he saw him again tonight he would get the sheriff down here.
It was the first time I really saw my dad able to be strong and willing to step in to a situation he knew nothing about to help someone. I mean I'm not saying either of them needed help but fighting isn't the solution and my dad knew that. He was tough for that, I always knew he was strong but never put himself out there like that before. My dad looks like a mean tough older guy but he is really sweet and nice when you talk to him. He is for sure not the person you see at football games getting into fights, he is the person breaking it up.

To Kill a Mocking Bird Post

My neighborhood doesn't have many kids, even kids my age so I would be forced to play with my older brother and sisters so I guess I can relate to her playing with the older kids. It ends about there though. I was always seen as too little to do a lot of the things so I would just end up playing by our tree in the backyard. If Scout wanted to be my friend as a kid I would. She seems to be willing to try new things and doesn't get pushed around by anyone but Jem. Now I might not have been friends with Jem and definantly not Dill. They are just up each others butts too much and would annoy me.

Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it.

Pay attention and you will hear all that needs to be heard.
Be astonished and you will see all that life brings.
Tell about it to spread knowledge of what you know.
Follow these and you will be successful. If your willing to listen to the wiser and learn from them, you can use others history to create your future. If you are amazed by it then act like it. Show your appreciation for what life brings you and then tell people about it. If you tell only the good can there really be bad ? Imagine there was no evil spreading. And if only good was told, how many people would honestly listen, and even then be astonished by it. Not only can we listen and pay attention to the words we hear, but by sight we can see peoples actions. Actions speak louder then words. So if you pay attention to all the steps taken by our past and present we will either repeat them or choose our on path. Either way people will be surprised of the outcome.
